Kia ora bloggers! On 8 April 10:27 we did collective nouns. So what are collective nouns? Well, there names of a group of people. (e.g. A school of fish). Now can guess of a collective noun in the comment section? It was quite fun to do! Anyways it was quite tricky too.

It took me ages to do this but i finally did it.

Student Led Toolkits

 On Friday June 11th, we had Student Led Toolkits for Stem (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) Week.

My 1st station was Sphero Edu in the hall.The program was presented by Cole and Caleb who made a very good job presenting. I learnt that Sphero is very special because it be used for a lot of things! Like obstacle courses. It is a robotic ball that we controlled with our chromebooks.

My 2nd station was Music Lab In Mokoroa. That was presented by Paytin and Erana. Their job was well explained. I now know that music lab is quite fun especially the Shared Piano.

My 3rd station was Drones BUT they died. So instead I did Incredibox  in Haumia. Presented by Lilly and Kiani who did an awesome job. I really enjoyed that because some of the people who shared their songs were AWESOME!

I really had fun with the toolkits and thought "I wonder if we will try those again."

Our Learning From Mis McGrath

Today on Monday Mrs McGrath made us do the funniest activity ever, a chatterbox. It is like the picture below, with positive words. At first I  liked it a lot so at home time if  I showed it to my mom she would try to work on it. This was awesome.

The other activity was a compliment circle so what you had to do was say a nice compliment to another person then  they would say "thank you".

Lastly we did some blogging. "What's blogging" you say? Well you make  a sentence of what you did and people on the internet can see!

Then Mrs Sands came back!

Reading Work ANZAC Day

 Hey there bloggers! Today for reading we did some Anzac Day work since we  were celebrating Anzac Day. Also I was with my BFF Jerome. My favorite work was the Anzac Day choice board. I designed a digital Poppy and a paper Poppy with some other fun activities too! My main work was to do the comprehension questions to the story called Taiaha. And lastly I liked the Nuanua level 2-3 choice board. I like Anzac Day a lot and I hope I get set more Anzac work. But until now. Blog you Later!

ANZAC Day "Under The Wires" Activity

 Hey There Bloggers Wow! What a silly day! Our crazy teachers made us crawl under wires for ANZAC Day. We had to do all of our work under the wires! And if we pop our heads, we may have been able to be shot by a Nerf Gun from teachers like an Obby. Plus it was very tricky! While we were doing our learning we heard sounds of gun shots on the TV! We loved listening to the story about Roly the Anzac donkey. We wrote a letter pretending to be a Soldier, we did a acrostic poem and best of all I liked the picture dictation too! When they tried to do something different... THAT was cheeky too!!!!!! Under are some pics of what we did!!!!! I'm going to look forward to more fun activities so, for now blog u later!

Today at Family Fun Day We Were Put Into House Groups. Pukeko, Tui, Kea And Ruru. My House Group Was Pukeko. Anyways We Were Trying Out Some Different Activities. Here Is The Order Of Activity's I Did: Pirate Ship Bouncy Castle, Scooters And Bikes (And Cake Stall), Bouncy Castle Obstacle Course. Then We Had Lunch At The End We Went Home Early Because We Did A Lot Of Activity. I REALY Loved Today! So I Look Forward To My Next Year's Experience. Here Is Some Pics Of It. But For Now. Freaky Or Fancy Friday

On Sunday, 7 March We Had Freaky Or Fancy Friday. But Sadly When It Was Lockdown, We Couldn't Go Anywhere. So We Used Google Meet.
We Had To Use Our Camera To Take Photos And Send Them To A Sheard Folder. Some People Were Freaky, Some People Were Fancy. We Also Played Some Games That Were Fun! Also Kahoot!. We Couldn't Wait To Go To School! Please Feel Free To Comment. But For Now!

Tsunami

 Hey There Bloggers!

2:00 In The Morning We Had A Tsunami Warning And IPhones Were Alerted And The News Was Talking About The Tsunami Warning. When I Was At Camp One Of The Alerts Woke Me Up At Night. And I Did Not Love The Sound Because It Was Too Loud For Me. I Checked And My Beach Looked Liked Ok. But The Alarm Was Still On. Ok So Here Are What U Need For A Tsunami Warning. A Torch, Batteries, Portable Charger, IPhone, Food, Fly Spray, Games, Sunscreen, Water, Waterproof Jacket, Wipes, First Aid Kit, Radio, Umbrella, Toilet Paper And Tarpaulin. The Tsunami Waring Was Scary But I Was Brave.

On Monday all the middle school students had a trip to Mangere Mountain. It was very fun and explorative. We learnt so much. After all the exploring we finished with some lunch! Then learn't some special medicine that can heal you. We went To school without assembly. We had Some finishing off time. Then it was home time it was a really fun trip! So I can't-wait for my next adventure!
